On today’s Joshua T. Berglan’s Morning Gratitude brought to you by Sababa Water………..Dawn Elyzabeth and Jonathan Stone Co-founders, The Sababa Way The Sababa Way, a One into One Company, means that for every Sababa grocery product you buy, Sababa will donate a meal to a hungry child in your community. Childhood food insecurity is a problem all over the world. Our mission is starting here in our own backyard in the USA. Jonathan Stone’s background is in the entertainment and tech industry where he has executive produced many productions including World’s Greatest Athlete, 72 Names of God and a fitness TV series for kids which brought him to Capitol Hill as an advocate against childhood obesity. Dawn Elyzabeth enjoyed competition dance early on in life and through her college years. Seeking a change, Elyzabeth found herself in the corporate retail environment and quickly discovered she had a knack for identifying what was absent in a business model and creating the appropriate structure. The Sababa Way began in 2014. Without a background in the grocery business, Stone and Elyzabeth view the industry much different than those within it and have broken many barriers. Letting their mission to end childhood hunger in the USA drive them, they have gotten the first product, Sababa Water, into all of the major grocery chains across California. In 2018, Sababa products will be in over 1000 stores and are predicted to provide well over 500,000 meals for children in California alone. As The Sababa Way moves into more states, more products are being added to the shelves. As if they have time for anything else, Stone and Elyzabeth are excited to be getting married this year.
